Here you can post ideas for Titan loadouts. :-)

For a start:

Name: Tesla (or Zeus as an alternative)

Chassis: Atlas

Primary Weapon: Arc Cannon
Shoots lightning charges. If fully charged, the lightning strike jumps to another two targets that are close to the main target. Deals extra damage to all kind of shields.

Offensive Ability: Thunderbolt
Enemy Titans hit by Thunderbolt can't use abilities for a few seconds.

Tactical Ability: Arc Mine
Deploys an Arc Mine that stuns the first Titan to step on it for a few seconds.

Defensive Ability:
Lightning Surge
Tesla unleashes a Lightning Surge to enemy Titans in front of him. As long as an enemy Titan is hit by Lightning Surge, its vision is interfered and movement speed reduced.

Core-Ability: EMP-Core
Tesla releases a massive EMP shockwave, stunning all Titans in an area around him.

Concept-idea: The essence of the Tesla or Zeus-concept is disturbing his enemies and creating an opening for an attack or defending your allies while doing so. Use Arc Mine to lure enemy Titans into it and kill them or use it to escape. Shoot your Thunderbolt on them to make them unable to use defensive abilities and attack them or use it so they can't use their offensive abilities on you and your allies.
The downside of Tesla is that his abilities themselves don't deal a lot of damage, except for shields. This was another important part: Since Tone and Legion are so prominent in Titanfall 2, Arc Cannon is the right weapon to deal with them and quickly destroy their shields. I also thought about letting Thunderbolt deal a lot of damage to shields, but I think that ability is strong enough as it is.

Okay, I like your Tesla idea better than mine.
    Name:Rocket
    Chassis:Stryder
    Primary Weapon:Quad Rocket
Launches 4 Rockets out of the Barrel at a time. Ammo clip is 4 Rounds worth of rockets.
    Offensive Ability:Mini Rocket

Fire an Explosive that, upon contact (or reaching full range) explodes dramatically, causing severe damage to anything caught in its explosion.

    Utility Ability: Hover

Like Northstar, Rocket can Hover in mid-air to get surveillance on the field or to gain the upper hand in combat.

    Defensive Ability: Body-Shield

Activate a full body-shield that deflects all incoming fire while still allowing the user to shoot back. Disables abilities and core.

    Core-Ability: Rocket Charge

Rocket gets an amazing speed boost which you can use to rush towards an enemy, ramming them and doing significant damage to the Chassis.

    Takedown Move:

Charge into the Titan and Rip the Canopy off, then fire a barrage of Quad Rockets into the Cockpit, killing the Pilot and the Titan.

Name:??? (Something to do with time)

    Chassis:Atlas

    Primary Weapon: PL-Boltcaster
Launches Super-heated bolts of Plasma out of a Crossbow style gun. 12 ammo capacity, fast firing rate.

    Offensive Ability: Temporal Collapse
Target a specific Titan and quickly move it back and forth in the time-space continuum, causing the Titan to age inflicting damage.

    Utility Ability: Stasis Trap
Fire a stasis projector at an area and wait for a Titan or group of enemies to step into it's area of effect, freezing everything in time caught in its effect range, stopping everything from moving, firing and charging abilities

    Defensive Ability: Temporal Shield
Slow down every bullet (or other projectile) in front of you to a halt

    Core Ability: Time Core
Send everything in the cone-effect area speeding through time, inflicting damage and freezing them in the present for as long as the core is active.

    Takedown Move
Freeze the Enemy Titan in its place then punch the Titan in the canopy, throwing the Pilot out of the top. Then age the Pilot into a rotten skeletal corpse.

I think they should take the 2 existing titans from the campaign(expedition and brute) that did not make it to the multiplayer. They do however share the vortex shield with ion, so i believe they should make the abilities more unique.

Name: Blitz, Storm (expedition is too long)

    Chasis: Vanguard

Primary weapon: 20mm automatic cannon(cant remember what the real name for the weapon is. 4x zoom when ads and reduced spread

Offensive ability: multi-lock missle salvo. Obviously this would be way over powered so it would take 3 seconds to lock on to pilots similar time as campaigm for titan lock. Missles would regenerate similar to campaign one rocket at a time.

    Utility: concusion grenade
fired from either under the barrel of the primary or from forearm of non dominant arm.
Blows up on contact and impairs hearing temporarily blinds pilots and titans and slows movements

    Defensive ability: Active camoflauge
Cloaks entire titan similar to pilot ability while releasing smoke cloud.

Core ability. Assault core, Rampage core, barrage core something that sounds cool.
Similar to the existing amped weapons core from campaign except along with dumb fired rockets. To make this core not so OP it only fires what ammunition is currently loaded into primary and offensive ability.

    Takedown:
Point blank fire concusion grenade at titan tackle titan or throw titan to ground and repeated stab cockpit with either a blade that comes from forearm or large knife mounted on side of cockpit.

Let me know what you guys think. :)

Okay, I like the idea. But Expedition is not too long of a name. Also, Its called the Quad Rocket.

Thanks for the feedback! I know the quad rocket is for brute. I would like to see brute make it as well to a dlc but on a totally new titan thats a stryder chasis that doesnt look identical to northstar

nice post, i would like to see Faction based Titan models , similar concept like what they did with the Prime titans but faction based for each class.
example the 64 and Apex or Merc each have a ION / TONE and so on. each TONE will have a different skin or model for each faction so when a player plays a faction they have the option to select that model even for the weapons they could do this for the 40MM will function the same for every faction like there Titans but look different and sound different.
that and this could be implemented with pilots as well.

Cool idea, a Titan from 6-4 would be sounding like an adventurous kind of AI, with deep "friendship-like" bond to it's pilot, while a Titan from Apex could be more cold and "professional killer-like". Maybe even different AI actors? I would love to hear a 6-4 Titan talk to me warmly, like if I was truly it's family, it would make me go crazy for protecting my bae at all cost :D
I don't aim with my sight. I aim with my passion. It's my faith that pulls the trigger. I don't kill with my gun. I kill with my devotion.

To be completely honest, I really miss the Titan customization from TF1. While it lacked in the visual customization that we get in TF2, I liked being able to get new OS voices because it just seemed like another way that the Titan you piloted was uniquely yours, and the new system seems really stripped of that despite the new skins and nose art.

Also even if they don't include the Expedition loadout in multiplayer, I'd like it if they at least incorporated a loadout that brought back the XOTBR-16 Chaingun; that was the weapon I tended to use most in my TF1 loadout, and the Predator Cannon that Legion uses just isn't the same.

At the very least, could we get rechargeable shields as a default again? Even in Scorch (which is an Ogre model Titan, if I remember right), I feel like my Titan is practically made of tissue paper when even Stalkers can cause permanent damage that can't regen.

Hahaha it seems we both had an Idea for a Tesla titan

    Here's mine:

    Tesla:
Designed specifically as a support titan, Tesla utilizes the power of electricity to damage and reinforce enemies and allies
    Chassis type: Stryder
Based off the stryder model, tesla has high mobility and low health, as well as 2 dash charges out of the box
    Primary weapon: Arc Cannon
Essentially the Weapon of the same name from the original game, the arc cannon functions as a chargeable chain lightning gun, chaining from target to target with reduced damage the farther it goes, the longer it is charged before release, the further it will chain, and the more damage it does
    Defensive equipment: Plasma wall
Deploys two Tesla coils on the ground parallel to each other, generating a stream of electricity between them, slowly erodes the health of whatever moves within range of them, generally the larger the target them more damage it does over time, perfect for shutting down lanes, booby trapping large entrances, and eating away the health of pursuers, after a while the coils detonate (or immediately, if the streams don't connect), anything caught in the radius will experience effects similar to that of an arc grenade
    Offensive Equipment: EMP Missile
Fires a straight flying missile out that detonates on impact; releasing a blast of static electricity that slows, damages, and blinds titans, effect is Fatal to infantry

    Ability: Fortify Shield
Tesla powers itself up and gives a small bit of shielding to itself (or if held down and aimed, can grant it to a friendly titan), equivalent to a fraction of a shield battery, enabling Tesla to withstand a small portion of damage before taking direct damage to the hull, only partially restores hull integrity if doomed, effect stacks if used while shield integrity remains.

    Core : Shield Core
Upon use, grants a fully charged shield to Tesla with double the durabilty of a shield battery, shield battery cannot be removed by rodeo attackers, causing tesla to deliver an electric shock that knocks enemy pilots off, as well as deploys a shield generator on the ground which will slowly grant shields to friendly titans and slightly increase the health of friendly infantry for a brief period of time.
    Loadout Kits
1.Death Wall: Increases the damage output and range of plasma wall, tesla coil detonations dole out damage.
    2. Storm core: The shield genrator deployed by Shield core damages hostile titans and infantry within it's range, damaging hostiles slightly extends it's duration
3.Thunderstruck: Gain an additional EMP missile as well stun effect is increased.
    4. Rampart: Gain or give an additional block of shielding when fortify is used, at the expense of doubled cooldown time
    5. Lightning storm: Charging the Arc Cannon stores up shots rather than strengthening a single shot, up to three shots can be stored for later use, but at the cost of reduced damage and lower chain distance.

Name:??? (Something to do with time)

Maybe something like, Elapsed, or Chronon
  • Name: Streak
    Chassis: Atlas

Primary Weapon: Three-round burst wrist cannons

Offensive Ability: Shock Pulsed Mines- Throwable grenades that are charged to increase the amount of damage, but decreases the delay of the explosion the longer you wait. Contains a Max of two grenades, if placed on top of each other they create a field of electricity that slow titans and blind them.

Tactical Ability: Harpoons- Fires volleys of darts that are electrified, can slow titans and blind them, last three seconds

Defensive Ability: Lock Shield- Titan shuts down and engulfs itself in a vortex shield-like shield, projectiles are absorbed into the Streaks armor and raises health. Last 7 seconds

Core Ability: Not sure what to name this: Streak uploads darts into wrist cannons, electrifying them, and are fired at high speeds, if punching, darts stick out of wrist cannons.

Takedown: Kicks enemy twice, first in the waist, then in the cockpit, then Streak grabs the canopy and pulls the Titan over Streak, using the other hand to shoot him, then slams on the ground and punches the cockpit to finish 'em off.

Streak stats allow a constant flow of damage. Should be used to surprise enemies and deal as much damage to them before they realize what is going on.

    Titan name: Odin
Made to draw out and corner your enemies, as Odin you play the role of a support.

    Primary: Arc gun
The Arc gun deals high damage but is a charge based weapon so you have to charge it or it wont do as much damage

    Chassis: Vanguard

Offensive capability: he has a wrist mounted gun that shoots a lightning rod that stuns the enemy for 3 seconds and blinds the titan

tactical ability: you have to same pod on your shoulder like BT-7274, except it fires a bolt of lighting that stuns and blinds the enemy for 2 seconds and deals low damage unless you hit the weak points, instant kill to pilots

Defensive capability: He has a vortex shield made out of lightning that incinerates any projectile that enters it

Core: think of the hammer of dawn from gears of war, except a stream of highly concentrated lighting, enough said

Take down:like prime scorches you punch the titan twice and then you use force lightning (thats the best way i can describe it) until they explode

Let me know what you think please.

Designation (Name): Mittere (Latin for "To send". The name is referring to sending a Missile)

    Chassis: Ogre

Primary Weapon: Single-Fire Rocket Launcher with a 10 clip magazine

    Offensive Ability:

Fire a Barrage of missiles from the left arms wrist. Guide them where you look (like Tones Slavo Core) to do direct damage with a hit on a Titan or to do splash damage if it hits a wall or the ground (Splash damage is less than a direct hit).

    Defensive Ability:
Create a shield from the lower-left arm that will absorb any direct damage that it encounters. While the shield is active the primary weapon gets switched for a smaller pistol-like rocket launcher with a faster fire rate then the primary weapon with a 10 clip magazine. Shield is active for as long as it is held down for or until it takes too much damage, then it has a 10 sec cooldown period.

    Utility Ability:
Create a hard-light wall that blocks enemies from passing through while allowing friendly units to pass and shoot through. It will destroy itself after 10 seconds or if it takes enough damage/the base is destroyed.

    Core: Rocket Core
Fire 4 Rocket engines attached to the back of the Titan that increases your speed dramatically allows you to go slightly airborne. Crash into enemies to deal damage while also having the ability to fire missiles from barrage pods attached to the Titans Shoulders. If airborne when the core ends then Ares will fall to the ground and deal AOE damage when it lands.

    Takedown:
Doge an enemy Titans punch and proceed to fire the primary weapon towards the enemy Titan, knocking off limbs and taking the cockpit hatch off. Fire 1 more rocket and knock the Titan to its knees then punch through the interior cockpit killing the pilot and the Titan.

    Prime Takedown:
Activate the arm shield and block enemy fire followed by a punch. Punch back and knock the enemy Titan back, causing it to lose its balance. Fire a barrage of Core Rockets while slightly airborne, knocking the Titan onto its back. Then, fly up into the air and come crashing down fist first on top of the Titan with your fist landing inside the cockpit and going through.

    Kits:
    Extended Missile Racks
Enhances the ammo capacity of the Primary and secondary weapons.

    Hard-light reinforcements
Increases the damage absorption capabilities of both shields

    Condensed Fuel
    Core lasts longer

    Smart Ammunition

Offensive Ability locks onto enemy Titans when guided towards them

    Nano-mesh Alloys
    Increases health of your Titan

    Titan name: Kong
Appearence: large fists make it walk like a gorrilla. The fist palms excreed a futuristic cement so the kong titan has history as a demolition and construction titan and is not typically used for warfare. But desperate time!
Chasis: heavy ogre or medium atlas

Primary: swing stone fists, can perform a three hit combo (consumes 1 ammo) third hit does more dmg but enforces a recovery delay.
ADS primary: create a stone and throw it, need to wait for stone to form. Stones stay in environment if do not hit a target. Stones can be destroyed. Stones can be 'slammed' if you grapple them.
Reload: reload cement, can store 3 shots. Lengthy reload.
Desensive: Grapple (fire a chain that reels foes to you or you to location or slams stones). 2 charges.
Offensive: savage leap (jump forward and stun targets on landing).
Utility: power punch (knocks target away from you)
Core: Stone wall. Create a slab of stone you carry like a riot shield. Can throw shield for huge damage but damage is reduced pers damage to shield. Cannot throw stones. Hip fire melee becomes more powerful but slower.
Execution: trip foe with grapple, create a rock above your head and crush the titan.

    Kits:
    Quicksilver (faster stone reload)
    Speed Winch (faster grapple reeling)
Iron fist (power punch does more damage)
Shield bearer (Stone wall can absorb more damage).

    Playstyle.

Standard combo is stone throw, grapple foe, stone fist comboes, power punch. Use grapple to maneuver around the environment. Leap can be used to extend attacks, avoid traps, or to escape in combo with grapple hence no blocking defensive, and to avoid traps. Place stones in areas behind foes so can do rock slam attacks with grapple. Use stone wall to push to an offensive position then throw shield.

PREPARE THINSELVES FOR A WALL OF TEXT! Here are multiple titan ideas. Admittedly some of these are similar to those already mentioned. Most particularly my idea of Archon is kinda similar to OP's tesla but the abilities are a bit different and it's a stryder chassis. ALRIGHT!

Brute-4 (Or Havok, choose your favorite)
    Primary: Quad rocket
Ordnance: Rocket salvo (unguided high damage rocket swarm)
    Tactical: VTOL hover
Defensive: Body armor (Completely shields entire titan of all damage, and scrambles lock ons for a short time. User can still use abilities but can't sprint or dash)
Core: Explosive burst core (Basically burst core from the campaign but the bullet's are fired from a shoulder mounted minigun and explode to make it better against infantry)
Description: Brute-4 is an upgraded and dedicated version of the campaign Brute titan. It has it's own unique model, employs improved electromagnetic body shield tech, and a shoulder mounted minigun. Brute-4 specializes in hit and run close range combat with explosive weaponry and infantry wiping.
Stats: stryder, low armor, high speed, low armor, 2 dashes

    Bison (Or ramm, choose)
Primary: Supercharged guantlets (Melee only, high damage supercharged punches)
Ordnance: Shoulder charge (Charge boosters, thrusting you forward dealing damage upon colliding with an armored target)
Tactical: Magnetic pull (pulls armored targets closer to you and stuns them)
Defensive: Shield converter (Shortly enables a frontal shield that absorbs all damage and turns it into over-shields. You can run at full speed so it's great to close the gap and punish enemies that choose to keep firing)
Core: Berserker core (Punches "explode" on impact with electricity, dealing additional damage and slowing the enemy. You gain a strong overshield to help you survive while closing the gap)
Description: Bison was a concept titan seen in the tf2 art book, described as a melee brawler titan with a grapple hook (replaced with magnetic pull). This is my take on this titan. He's all about closing gaps and punching enemies to death and keeping them busy.
Stats: Ogre, high armor, low speed, no dash by default

    Archon
Primary: Arc cannon (increased damage to particle barriers)
Ordnance: Arc blast (concentrated energy blast that stuns and slows armored targets. Can spread to targets close to the main target)
Tactical: Stun mine (Bomb detonated by armored targets, stunning and slowing them. Can be manually blown up by holding the tactical button)
Defensive: Overcharge (Boost movement speed and reload speed. Damage anything that gets close)
Core: Lightning core (Arc cannon fires a long stream of lightning that slows all targets and deals continous damage)
Description: There were rumours of a stryder class in the code that had an arc cannon. It was apparently scrapped but this was my take on him (and some of it inspired by OP's tesla. Thanks!) He can play a long range support sniper role with charged arc cannon shots or a mid range stun and disruption expert that can be a pain in the enemies butt's if they don't deal with him.
Stats: stryder, low health, high speed, 2 dashes

    Dreadnought
Primary: AR-19 compact machine gun (a compact gatling gun with high fire rate. Fires energy rounds and has an infinite magazine but can overheat)
Ordnance: I'm thinking slaved warheads (visual lock on rockets from tf1) or sight guided rockets like salvo core. Let's go with the former.
Tactical: Mines (set down mines that blow up on proximity
Defensive: Particle barrier (a stronger and wider version of the particle wall that has a shorter duration.
Core: Mortar core (Enter targeting mode and select three areas to fire, sending missile strikes from a cannon in your back. Best used at range and in open areas)
Description: Dreadnought is a sturdy titan all about suppressing fire, defense and area control. His kit is all about holding areas, tanking damage and playing a tactical role in the battlefield.

Congrats! You made it! Have a mental potato for your efforts. Hopefully you liked my ideas! I don't have any ideas for atlas titans since monarch is supposedly on the way!

Here you can post ideas for Titan loadouts. :-)

    For a start:

Name: Tesla (or Zeus as an alternative)

I've had quite a few Titan ideas but here's just one.

    Titan name: Nova

    Titan class: Atlas

Primary weapon: don't have a name for it but imagine the reapers bullets shot out of a rifle, which if you'd read on pairs well with the rest of her kit

Offensive ability: gravity well, acts like a giant gravity star which can explode at the end of a short time active and deal DoT in its affected area

Tactical ability: Mode switch, sounds like legions tactical but instead it transforms novas primary weapon into a hitscan weapon and it cannot be affected by her gravity wells allowing for some nice control over her enemies

Defensive ability: Refraction shield, generates a shield similar to flame or vortex shield but instead deflects projectiles away in a corresponding angle, for example if the shield is shot directly in the middle the bullet will bounce right back but if it hits the bottom it will bounce in a downward angle. So just imagine bullets acting how a laser beam would on a curved mirror

Core ability: singularity core, makes nova move slower and creates a massive AoE around nova that lasts for a certain time and will absorb any projectiles that come into the AoE. Absorbed projectiles store damage and stored damage is released at the end of the core in a massive explosion power varying on damage absorbed

Execution: Nova breaks off the hull and leaves a gravity well inside the Titan only for the enemy Titan to collapse in on itself and explode

Got some other sick ideas (four armed Titan) that I will be posting here later on my free time

I have a pair of Titans that I have been kicking around for a couple of days now.

    Titan 1

    Kraken
    Chassis Type: Atlas
    Personality: Irish female
    Playstyle: Jack of all trades

    Main Weapon: Flechette Cannon
If Leadwall is the equivalent of the Maverick shotgun this is the equivalent of an Eva, firing a spread of shot in a cone. Fires in a six shot revolver with six barrels of pre-loaded rounds. Reloading envolves opening up the weapon break action style and putting in six new barrels.

    Ordinance: Harpoon Shot
Loads the Cannon with barrels full of one large shot that will track to the nearest titan or reaper but will dumbfire if none is in view. About 3x damage of 40mm per shot Reverts to normal shot once out of rounds.

    Utility: Limpet Mine
Drop a single high explosive anti-titan mine that will do heavy damage but can also be triggered by other explosives. Like a well timed grenade for example.

    Defensive: Lockdown
Kraken hunkers down on the ground and extends a shallow and impenitable shield around itself. Unable to move or eject but unable to be killed. Useful if you have a core being ripped on you or are surrounded. Can be turned on and off as the situation requires. Does not recharge untill its 10 second timer is expended and takes a while to recharge, so don't waste it.

    Core Ability: Artillery Core
Load the Cannon with a single huge barrel with equally large high-explosive shell that can pick off several enemies with one big bang.

    Upgrade Chips:
Change up: Faster recharge of harpoon rounds. Starter upgrade.
Blast Shot: normal Flechettes explode dealing extra damage after a short delay (think Halo's needler) and harpoon shot will have splash damage.
    Double Limpet: Double mines deployment.
Total Lockdown: gain an extra 5 seconds to Lockdown. Also killing enemy Titans will boost recharge time.
Smart Flechettes: Gives normal Flechettes tracking up to 3 targets at the cost of a shorter range and drastically reduced damage to Titans meaning you will have to rely heavily on Harpoon shot against them.

    Executions:
Breakdown: Kick out each knee on the enemy titan, rip of left arm and shove it through the cockpit.
Say ah: Force open hostile cockpit. Open your own and pummel the enemy pilot. Leave a grenade behind and close it up.

    Overall
    Dmg 2 Hth 2 Mob 2 Diff 3

Kraken can be very effective but requires the pilot to think two steps ahead of the enemy. A force to be reckoned with if done properly but will have a hard time adjusting if a surprise shows up.

    Titan 2
    Beowulf
    Chassis Type: Stryder
    Personality: Crocodile Dundee
    Playstyle: Ambusher

    Weapon: Arc Cannon
Similar to TF1 but has greater distinction between charged and hip fire shooting.

Has a retractable blade in left arm dealing extra melee damage but not as much as Ronin. Now that's a knife.

    Ordinance: Blitz Arrow
Single electromagneticly launched Arc projectile with a flat trajectory. Detonates on contact. Effect similar to Arc grenade but does enough damage to kill a pilot.

    Utility: Expedite
Instantly recharge dashes. Giving pilots the ability to cross a map quickly if they need to either engage or outflank an enemy or disengage during an evacuation.

    Defensive: Cloak
Yes, invisible giant robots that punch each other. Optimus Prime eat your heart out. Same idea as pilot cloaks. Grunts and machines including piloted Titans can't see em but pilots can pick them out well. Thermite will still show up on the cloaked titan.

    Core Ability: Ambush Core
Extended Cloak with extra melee damage and unlimited dashes. Be the robo ninja.

    Upgrade Chips
Amped Cloak: extra Cloak time and dash jets are also invisible. Starter.
Storm Arrow: Blitz Arrow with double blast radius.
Chain lighting: Charged shots with Arc Cannon will travel with full damage to nearest target at half range. Charging time is increased however.
Plasma Jet Thrusters: provides extra dash. Will stack with turbo engine to give Beowulf 4 dashes and a total of 8 after using Expedite.
Gimme That: Execution replacer. Upward sweep with arm mounted blade sheers off enemies right arm, sending it flying. Beowulf then puts its weapon away and then grabs the enemy by the ankles, pulls them off thier feet and curb stomps, just in time to catch the now dead Titan's falling weapon. Weapon will be amped with a single full magazine.

    Execution
Implale: Beowulf goes in for a left downward cross punch and hostile blocks by grabbing the arm with both hands. The blade then launches into the cockpit. It then retracts and the target sumps over.

    Overall
    Dmg 3 Hth 1 Mob 3 Diff 3

As opposed to Ronin which is more of a charge and meet the enemy, Beowulf is more about out-manuvering the enemy to flank them. This would probably be the only way I would ever do a melee Titan build because the Titan I most often execute is Ronin. The enhanced mobility will also offer a good boost to Hardpoint.

Well that's it. I think a few players would enjoy these and get a lot of use out of them. Kraken would also be useful in the campaign too.

    Titan Name: Juggernaut
    Chassis: Ogre
    Gender: Male
Offensive: Boulder Bash: 2 charges, first charge is right hand second charge is left hand. Grappling hooks on the hand chosen by charge grabs a massive chunk of earth from the cosshair, (terrain modification) and has a physics based throw. High Damage to a small area.
Defensive: Down to Earth - Giant grappling hook on the left arm grabs onto hostile titans face, and throws them to the ground. Low damage, high stun (no shooting or movement) (Cancels NS Hover, but not the Flight Core)
Utility: (Experimental) Trust Me: Grapples onto a nearby titan, and throws them with a physics based throw. Can be enemy or friendly. Damage is dealt in large amounts to both titan and target.
Melee: Mace and Chain: Melee hand is replaced by a ball on a chain, thrown out, does damage, comes back. More than standard melee damage, and longer range. Hands alternate when punching in sequence.
Core: Boulder Bash, Down to Earth, and Trust Me have short cool-downs and are faster. Boulder Bash does higher damage, Down to Earth does more damage and longer stun rate, Trust me has a slightly shorter cool down, does more damage to hostiles, less to friendlies, and throws them faster. Melee does more damage, has longer range, and is faster (resulting in more punches, even with extra longer range)
Execution: JT (lol) grapples to the hostile titan. Yoinks it towards himself. When it reaches JT he kicks the titan revealing the grapple had actually punctured the cockpit and grabbed the pilot. The titan is kicked away from the pilot who is in the claw. (For visual, on second the pilot is in his cockpit. Without himself moving, the titan that was around him moves backwards, leaving the pilot alone) Pilot is then crushed in the 3 fingered claw. Titan explodes.
How I imagine Juggernaut. Look up the Zillo beast. Notice the pattern of the scales. Make them black, makes them spiker, and then cover Ogre in them. Add silver tubes on each arm, with the three fingered claws on the end by the "hand" (one per) Look up BTD Juggernaut. Stick those massive balls where the hands are. The claws and maces are attached to chains that look like really fat grappling hooks. (From the tactical.)

Now: Imagine the bridge on Blackwater Canal. On one side is the single road, on the other is the split. Orient it in your mind so the fork is on the top and the single is on the bottom. Good. Scorch and Juggernaut are on the single. An enemy Northstar is on the right fork path. Juggernaut activates and hits both "Boulder Bashes" on the Northstar. Juggernaut then uses "Trust Me" to throw the scorch over the bridge towards the left end of the fork. The scorch begins to activate a flame core upon landing, aimed at the Northstar. Not ready to be melted, the Northstar hovers. However, the Juggernaut performs "Down to Earth" on the Northstar. Stunned and on the ground, the Northstar is hit by the flame core. Juggernaut then grapples to the doomed Northstar and finishes it off with its execution.

    Name: Hunter

    Chassis: Stryder

Weapon: ????(can't think on a name)

A sniper rifle that put "hack charges " on enemies, specially titans.
This charges are useful for the core and offensive ability, and are caracterised by a light on enemies body(or armor)

    Offensive ability: Vampire hack

The hack charges drain enemies shield and health to give then to the hunter. It only works at certain range and only on enemies with hack charges. Also, red energy beams come out of the charges to you and it can be active for unlimited time.

    Defensive ability: Recharchable cloak

Turns the titan invisible. It's works the same way as normal cloak, except that it recharges when the titan is not moving. Firing will disable the cloak for 5 seconds and reveal your position on the radar.

    Utility: Bait trap

Puts a mine on the ground that create an signal on the enemies radar. When enemies get close, it will detonate.

    Hack Core:

Allows you hack an enemy with an hack charge, choosing from the hacks below:

    Nuclear hack(only available to titans):

Starts a nuclear ejection sequence on the enemy titan. However, the pilot will stay trapped on titan and the explosion will kill enemies around it.

    Control hack:

turn the enemie into an ally. In case of titans, if there is a pilot inside him, it will be forced to leave the titan, that will become an ally auto-titan.

    Battery hack(only available to titans):

It will force the titan to eject his battery, causing damage to the titan an d allowing other players to pick it up and use it on other titans.

    Execution:

The hunter will shoot 3 hack charges on the enemy, and drain its energy till death.

    Please give me your opinion.

Titanfall 2 idea for a titan

Enforcer is a old IMC ogre chassis that was originally used for policing and crow control but has been repurposed by the militia to support and assist other titans

    Name: Enforcer

    Chassis: Ogre

Primary weapon: Arc cannon that fires a electrical charge. The gun has two fire modes much like legions predator cannon. The first fires like Winston's arc cannon in overwatch, it's highly effective against infantry and titans that get too close. The second fire mode switches to a burst cannon that fires balls of electricity much like the thunder ball but the projectiles are quicker and do less damage

    Offensive ability: Jumpstart
Fires a cable that links to a enemy titan that slowly drains their shields and gives them to you you can then fire a second cable too fully charge your shield or you can fire the second cable at a friendly titan to give them the shields instead (has two shots like the grapple hook)

    Utility ability: Protect & Serve
Switches arc cannon from close range too long range 3 round burst cannon that overheats every 3rd burst

    Defensive ability: Tesla field
Fires two Tesla towers similar too ions trip mines but creates a wall that neither friendly nor foe can shoot through but has a slow bleed damage to enemy's who get too close

    Core ability: Assault & Battery
Enforcers lethality is heavily increased at the expense of armor (health goes form ogre to atlas) and his ability are altered for a more aggressive play style. Also you could have the AI change when in the defensive mode vs aggressive (he can also be swapped back to the more defensive mode and whatever percentage of the meter is filled gives back shield when swapped back)

    Offensive ability: Kickstart
Cables are fired at enemies just like jumpstart but instead of gaining shield your weapons lethality is increased much like the amped weapons pilots get or the second cable can be used on a friendly just like jumpstart but their weapons lethality is increased

    Utility ability: Serve & Protect
Enforcer still has the ability too switch fire modes but the lethality of the arc cannon is decreased but the burst cannon is switched to full auto and the time too overheat is increased as well

    Defensive ability: Peace & Security
Gains a personal shield that covers the front of the Chassis in the shape of a upside down T so the arms are not covered (back is not covered)

    Execution: Grounded
enforcer fires a cable grappling enemy titan and pulls it towards him and uppercuts the enemy knocking it down then he rips open the cockpit and fires the second grapple in and electrifies it

Side note: I've been kinda thinking about how there's no support titans that are tanks in the game like how tone is a support/offensive titan and how their should be another option if you want to heal. Also Idk if the core ability is too much but it could also be split up into a whole different titan and both have completely different core abilities and it would be cool if for the last aegis rank you could get a mounted MG or grenade launcher on top of the titan that a friendly pilot could man if they are waiting for their titan to recharge. Imagine all the different nose arts and different skins for the titan and possibly it could have blue lights on the shoulders and main eye but when swapped to the more aggresvie mode the blue lights could turn red. Would love feedback on the ideas though (also sorry if my grammar wasn't perfect I just wrote it on the fly)

I've got a couple different Titan ideas to share, so this may be a very long comment (just to warn you).

First and foremost -- my idea for a new Ogre chassis Titan:

    Titan Name: Venom

    Main Element: Corrosive acid

    Titan Chassis: Ogre

Primary weapon: Quad Rocket (operation as in Titanfall 2 Campaign with slightly faster fire rate in single-fire mode; kit causes rockets to deal extra corrosive damage)

Defensive ability: Riot Shield (Venom pulls out Titan-sized collapsible metal shield to protect from most frontal attacks from the head to just below the waist; player is allowed to move and dash while holding the shield, but cannot fire weapons or any other ability; shield good counter against Ronin direct sword attacks and Leadwall shots, Scorch thermite launcher, Ion Splitter Rifle shots, Monarch Shield Siphon; worse against Northstar plasma railgun shots, Tone 40mm cannon shots, Legion Predator Cannon rounds, Ion Laser Shot, Zeus Arc Cannon shots; kit increases resistance to weaknesses and protects slightly larger area)

Tactical ability: Sludge Bomb (fires ball of acid from shoulder-mounted cannon that spreads to a radius on collision; when colliding with enemy Titan, deals corrosion damage for several seconds; when colliding with enemy Titan optics, causes temporary blindness (as with a Firestar); kit grants player two Sludge Bombs)

Ordnance: Particle Cannon Blast (fires one straight-line shot that deals heavy damage to enemy Titans/Pilots; can be charged for higher damage, less gravitational arc, and piercing; explodes on collision; kit grants player two shots)

    [Edit]

    [
    or

    Slaved Warheads
Ordnance: I'm thinking slaved warheads (visual lock on rockets from tf1)
(Paint enemy targets with lock markers (up to 12 markers), kit adds 6 more rockets (total 18 markers max))
    {Thanks to @BlueSulphur224 for remembering these, that's a way better idea than a particle cannon blast IMO}
    ]

Core ability: Poison Core (Venom sprays constant stream of acid from shoulder mounted sludge bomb cannon in direction of view; acid stream is short range but covers a wide area; Venom becomes invincible to his own acid for the duration of the core, core lasts 15 seconds; kit increases maximum range of stream and damage done by stream)

Execution 1 (Prime Venom?): Venom coats the enemy Titan in sludge, melting the top half of it into liquid and melting the Pilot inside

Execution 2 (Standard Venom): Venom blinds the enemy Titan first with a sludge bomb, causing it to stagger backwards, then grabs it and pumps several Quad Rocket shots into the hull

Titan concept: Venom is the result of a secret joint project formed from a deal between the Ares Research Division and the Hammond Robotics Armament Division. The project, personally overseen by the executives of Hammond Robotics and General Marder, began as an experiment in sustainability. The intent was to reuse the toxic red sludge created from IMC construction. Over five years, the two groups developed and tested a weapon system that utilized a super-concentrated form of the sludge corrosive enough to melt through solid steel in a matter of seconds. Tests proved surprisingly successful after Ares deployed several prototype units into several battles against the Militia, with devastating effect. Now, General Marder, with Hammond's help, plans to mass-produce and deploy Venom units, laying waste to anyone who stands in his way.

Second, an idea already mentioned before by @Haschibusalu and reiterated by many in mutiple variations (thanks to my brother for this variation):

    Titan Name: Zeus

    Main Element: Electricity

    Titan Class: Stryder

Primary weapon: Arc Cannon Mk. II (Titan-sized Arc Tool, does not automatically recharge until Arc Cannon battery reaches zero; kit grants a shield and increases Arc Cannon battery life when a Titan battery is equipped)

Defensive ability: Magnet Shield (creates stationary bubble shield that repels metallic rounds, can last up to 15 seconds; shield deteriorates with damage taken; kit amps outgoing shots)

Tactical ability: Arc Mine (lays down large arc mine that temporarily blinds and slows enemy Titans when stepped on; can stick to walls; deals significant damage to Titans; instant kill on Pilots when close, however can only be activated by Titans; kit allows up to two Arc Mines to be deployed)

Ordnance: Power Surge (Zeus fires Thunderbolt-like projectile that moves much faster than Thunderbolt charge, homes in on enemy Titans; kit increases speed of projectile)

    or

Reaper Rocket Salvo: (Zeus fires six Reaper rockets from shoulder mounted rack, rockets are modified to home in on Titans; rockets can do splash damage; kit doubles number of rockets fired)

Core Ability: Arc Core (Zeus gains electric field around him that deals steady damage to anyone within field radius; Arc Cannon can branch to multiple targets and gains infinite charge for duration of core; kit increases radius of electric field at cost of damage)

Execution 1 (Prime Zeus?): Zeus lunges at the enemy Titan, knocking it over while simultaneously pulling the Pilot out of the cockpit, then while holding the Pilot in the air, electricity runs up Zeus's arm, electrocuting the Pilot

Execution 2 (Standard Zeus): Zeus throws a left hook followed by a right hook, knocking the enemy Titan back, then while grabbing the Titan, fully charges an Arc Cannon shot into the hull of the Titan, electrocuting the Pilot inside

Titan concept: As the Militia continues to fight against the IMC for control of the Frontier, the SRS came in need of a new machine to fight the Venom threat. Having seen what Venom was capable of, Commander Briggs recognized that Venom alone could turn the tide of battle in favor of the IMC if it had no counter. However, with the help of some stolen intel from a siege on an IMC stronghold and a few turncoat IMC engineers, the Militia gained the capability to create a new and improved version of the Arc Cannon prototype and equip it onto a Stryder chassis. Now, Zeus stands ready to turn the tide of battle back in the Militia's favor.

Please let me know what you think of these ideas! I would really appreciate the feedback!
  • Name: Barrier

    Role: Support/Defense

    Chassis: Stryder

    AI: French Male

    Weapon: Mine Layer
-Lays anti-titan mines. Detonate when an enemy passes over them. Can be fired directly at enemy, but not recommended.

    Core: Leech
-Dealing damage to titans restores shields.

    Defensive: Light Wall
-Barrier deploys a titan-sized wall in front of him that can't be penetrated from either side.

    Tactical: Light Switch
-Turns off Light Wall early in return for a quicker Light Wall recharge.

    Ordinance: Override Beam
-Enables the bubbleshield of a friendly or enemy titan.

Execution: Barrier shoots a mine slightly behind the enemy titan, then pulls it's leg out from under them, causing them to fall onto a mine.

    Name: Deadeye

    Class: Stryder

    Weapon: Dual thermite pistols

Role: hit and run/ Flank, support

    Ability 1: Wrangle
Fires a back mounted harpoon gun which slows a enemy titan making them easier to hit and allows Deadeye to slightly control the direction of his target or pull them closer. (think of cattle)

    Utility: Quick draw
Allows for faster recharge/reload/ and fire rates. and if you manage to land the first shot on an enemy titan before he hits you the shot does increased damage.

    Ability 2: unload
Fires all bullets in his clip for pistols for more damage but longer reload.

    Core ability: Stampede
Temporarily increase speed and gives temporary shields to nearby allied titans and allows allied titans to ram into enemy titans for some damage as long as they stick near Deadeye.

The idea is that this titan is a dual wielding gunslinger titan.

    Name: Nuke

    Chassi: Atlas

    Weapon: YO-56

A enhanced version of Monarch's weapon( I can't remember the name of it). It shots 3 rounds per burst and has increased precision, just like the Hemlock. One o these shots is a especial marker for the offensive ability.

    Defensive ability: Portable shield

Equip a titan size shield in the front of Nuke( like a medieval knight shield, instead is made of energy) that can be used until it receives an certain amount of damage. While active, you can't use any weapon or ability.

    Utility: Hunter drone

Deploys an special drone that flies around the map while sending radar pulses that reveal enemies. It also shoots marker for Nuke's offensive ability.

    Offensive ability: Smart mortars

Nuke starts shooting guided mortar the marked targets. The projectiles are launched vertically, so Nuke( and the targets) need to be on open areas to it work.

    Nuclear core:

Nuke marks a place for an orbital nuclear bomb to land there. Once the bomb lands, it will give the same amount of damage the nuclear ejection does on the area it lands. It only works on open spaces.

Please tell me what do you think about it here in the forum.
  • Name: BRUTE

    Chassis: Ogre

    Weapon: Quad rocket

Role: Front line close range tank

Personality: Deep voiced stubborn and protective like a big brother.

Defensive: Thick skin, BRUTE can armor his upper torso, shoulders and sides of arms to protect himself and his critical points, stays until broken down or timer decays. (does not protect his lower torso or legs.)

Ordinance: Mortar shower, BRUTE releases a small barrage of mortar missiles that fire in the air and come down at the point of impact BRUTE points to. (can be similar to scorches gas can being launched and will spray randomly where they land so a pilot could possible survive if they were to get caught in the shower)

Tactical: Arch mine, BRUTE lays down a titan sized arch trap that will slow down and distort any titan or reapers that happen to come across it, it can be destroyed and takes 2 seconds to lay down once activated will last 5 seconds. ( if destroyed will have mini arch affect similar to a regular arch grenade going off)

Core: Relentless savagery, BRUTE gains a big speed buff to his movement, reload, fire rate and melee. BRUTE also gains big extra damage to his primary and melee, lasts as long as a Ronin without highlander on. (An alternative to this is he just puts away his quad rocket and goes on a beat down rampage with his fists doing mass damage with his melee and speed buff.)

Execution: Beat down, BRUTE throws out a one two upper cut combo to the victim before grabbing them while they are dazed and smashes their face in the ground killing the titan and pilot.

Alt execution: Bully, BRUTE grabs the victims weapon before giving a devastating gut punch then breaks the weapon over the titans head killing the pilot then kicking the titan over to land face first in the ground killing the titan.

Let me know what you think feedback is always awesome and this was a lot of fun to make.

    Name: Reaper
    Chassis: Reaper, MK X?

If you look at the current model of the Reaper, you can see that there is quite a bit of unused space.
In my opinion that makes for quite a good gap to fill with lore.

For Example: The Reaper Project started out as a way to miniaturize Stryder Titans, so they take up less space in transport, but are still as deadly. Since they are also smaller, the same "Titan" could be made almost entirely out of Graphene reinforced Carbon fibre, saving additional weight, improving storability and mobility.

Weapon: The Reapers weapons are dual wielded grenadier weapons.

The Reaper has a special quirk about it: Any Pilot that uses it is forced to use either the Phase Shift Pilot or the Phase jump Kit, since this Titan does not have a hatch.

Kits: The Reapers Kits focus on its weapons:

Kit 1: This Kit focuses on the SMR.
It increases Firerate and Ammo capacity for all weapons (could also increase reload times for higher firerate and capacity), meaning higher DPM.
Furthermore it has a special treat for the SMR:
SMR rockets now work similar to the Smart Pistol, as in each rocket projects a 5° cone in front of it. The first enemy in this cone is followed by the rocket, however only as long as it stays within said cone. If it loses contact, the rocket explodes.

Kit 2: This Kit focuses on the EPG.
All Weapons now have increased explosive damage and radius.
The EPGs Projectiles receive a behaviour similar to the Thunderbolt, as in they continuously damage enemies in their flightpath.

Kit 3: This Kit focuses on the Softball
    All Weapons reload faster.
For Softball: Match Trigger. Softball fires as fast as you can click.

Kit 4: This Kit focuses on the EM4
All projectiles fly with higher speeds.
For EM4: Continuous fire. EM4 now behaves similar to the L-Star.

    Offensive: Configurable.
Reaper Pilots can choose from all Anti-Titan Weapons.

Defensive: Shield Generator: Regenerates full shields.

    Tactical: Ticks, much like Boost.

Core: Battery-Core: Reaper regenerates a battery (potenitally half-strength,...), without receiving Core Charge.

Execution: Entering and Breaking: The Pilot phases out of the Reapers Cockpit, directly into the other Titans Cockpit, killing its pilot, activates the ejection seat and phases back into the Reaper just before the Ejection actually triggers.

Alt-Execution: Facehugger: Reaper jumps at the enemy Titan, tipping it over and starts ripping it appart, not too dissimilar to one of Mortal Kombats Xs Mileena fatalities.
