Tone's Salvo Core

Hi All,

I watched several Tone's guide on youtube and I saw pro players using her core by shooting it up to the sky and the missiles still homing to enemies. One thing that are not clear to me is do we have to lock to enemies first and then shoot it up to the sky? or we can just shoot it up to the sky without locking?

  • Tone's Salvo Core follows wherever you aim. The pro's shoot it into the sky so that even if the enemy hides behind cover, the rockets will still hit.

    So we can shoot to the sky immediately? or we have to lock first and then aim to the sky?

    Because logically thinking if we didnt lock first then the missiles will just hit random enemies.

    Salvo Core doesn't really lock onto enemies like her Tracker Rockets do. The rockets from Salvo Core go where you aim, so you could literally just make the rockets fly around in circles in the air if you wanted to until they exploded on a timer.
    But to answer your question directly, yes, you can just fire into the sky right away. And then once the rockets are in the sky you aim at the enemy you want to kill and the rockets will hit where you're aiming, in this case the enemy titan.

    @PerplexDonut

    Nice info, so we shot first and then aim later. Question answered. Thank you very much :)
